'Sharad Sundari 2016' Unveils The Season's Most Awaited Festive Look

The most awaited beauty pageant Sharad Sundari by Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers completed its sixth edition with the Grand Finale held recently. With the participation of more than 3000 girls from across the country, Sharad Sundari promised the budding talents to once again fulfill their dream of entering in the glamour world. The Grand finale of ‘Sharad Sundari 2016’ saw the top twelve finalists, sizzling the ramp competing to win the crown with Showstopper Tollywood Diva Rituparna Sengupta along with Actor Suchandra Vaaniya. The judges’ panel included Actor Indrani Halder; Bengali Film Director Sudeshna Roy, Veteran Photographer Vivek Das, Mrs. India International Riecha Sharma and Mrs Arpita Saha, Director, Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers.The beauties were all set to win over the title to be ‘Sharad Sundari 2016’. The finalists had to face three rounds of the Grand finale. The first round was based on self introduction; second round was on judges’ question-answer session and the final round was on the distinct writing skill of the contestant on one common question, time allotted was one minute. Besides the main pageant award there were awards for three other special categories namely Best Hair, Best Skin, Best Figure and Sharad Sundari Tripura. The top 12 finalists vying the crown were Ahiri Biswas, Anindita Maity, Banhisikha Bhattacharya, Debjani Ganguly, Jazz Sarkar, Malancha Rath, Puja Mukherjee, Rai Chowdhury, Rituparna Dhar, Sanjana Chetri, Suchismita Bar and Usri Nirjhar Ganguly.The concept of the most coveted beauty pageant "Sharad Sundari" that begun in 2011 by spotting faces at popular puja pandals, is a hunt for the season’s face with the most festive look who would be an embodiment of beauty, power and knowledge with the zeal to excel. With an aim to discover individuals who have a positive approach towards life with special focus on passion and creativity, this glamorous event witnessed the national participation of 3712 girls this year, mainly from West Bengal and Tripura from different walks of life like Students, Doctors, CA, Journalist, Engineer even house wife.
