APAI Presents Eastern India's Largest Education Exhibition In West Bengal

Kolkata, 9th June 2017: After the declaration of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) results Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal (APAI) presented Eastern India's largest Education Exhibition 2017 in West Bengal, the pre-counseling session for all the self-financing engineering and technology colleges that are AICTE approved, members of APAC and affiliated to MAKAUT (WBUT). The four day education exposition was inaugurated today at Netaji Indoor Stadium by the Chief Guest Shri. Partha Chatterjee, Hon'ble Minister-In-Charge for School Education, Higher Education, and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal in the presence of Shri Sovandeb Chatterjee, Hon'ble Minister in Charge for Power and Non Conventional Energy Sources, Govt of West Bengal , Shri Bratya Basu, Hon'ble Minister in Charge for IT & Electronics and Smt Ashima Patra, Hon'ble Minister in Charge for Technical Education. The event also marked the esteemed presence of Prof. Saikat Maitra, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, MAKAUT, West Bengal, Dr Amalendu Basu, Hon'ble Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Government of West Bengal, Shri Malayendu Saha, Hon'ble Chairman of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Boakrd and Mr. Ajoy Roy, Director IIEST, Shibpur, Howrah at the grand inaugural ceremony.

The Education exhibition commenced from 9th June and will go on till 12th June from 11am to 7pm at Netaji Indoor Stadium. The education exhibit by APAI is for the betterment of the aspiring students who want to pursue the field of Engineering and technical studies and help them gain perspective by conducting workshops and sessions with the representatives of collrges and universities all in one place. APAI aims to provide education with the touch of innovation that would create leaders of the nation. The exposition is supported by Higher Education Dept, Govt of West Bengal, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal and West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB).

All self financing engineering and technology colleges who are the members of APAC have participated in this exposition. The aspiring students and their parents would be given detailed information about the colleges, the available subjects and the additional advantages in the self financing colleges. The exposition also emphasizes the procedure of E-counseling for the admission

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. D P Nag, COO, APAI said, West Bengal is one of the leaders in the educational field in our country. This is one of the few places in India where affordable education is offered to students by the experts of the Government of West Bengal. Through this fair, APAI wants to counsel and direct students on how they can stay in a familiar environment and still pursue quality higher education in both conventional and non-conventional subjects.

APAI is the sole representatives of all the self financed Engineering & Technological institutions in West Bengal.
